FINER DETAILS

  • Welcome to our wedding celebration!

We’re so excited to gather our favorite people in one of the most historic and beautiful corners of Sydney — The Rocks.

Nestled beneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge and overlooking the sparkling harbour, The Rocks is where modern Australia began.

Established in 1788 as the site of the first European settlement, its cobblestone laneways, sandstone buildings, and harbour views carry more than two centuries of stories.

All of our wedding events will be centered around The Rocks so you can fully experience its charm from historic pubs and tucked-away laneways to sweeping waterfront views. We chose this neighbourhood not only for its beauty, but for its sense of history and romance.

  • To kick off our wedding celebrations, join us on the Top Deck at the Watsons Bay Hotel from 6pm on Sunday the 27th December.

Set right on the edge of Sydney Harbour, with sweeping views back toward the Sydney skyline, it’s the perfect spot to start the weekend.

It will be a relaxed and easy evening. It’s a chance for everyone to connect, meet, and settle into the celebrations ahead.

Everyone’s invited, no formalities — a fun start to the festivities.

    Getting to Watsons Bay
Watsons Bay is approx. 20min drive from The Rocks. However, traffic can be heavy and parking at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel is limited. We recommend taking one of the regular ferries or fast ferries that depart from Circular Quay. The ferry walk is a short 1min walk to the hotel itself.

    Dress Code
Our Welcome Dinner dress code is Smart casual, by the bay.
Think relaxed linen sets and flowy dresses.

  • We will be married at the historic Garrison Church (Holy Trinity Garrison Church), nestled in the heart of The Rocks.

Built between 1840 and 1846 from locally quarried sandstone, Garrison Church is one of Sydney’s oldest and most storied churches. Originally established to serve the soldiers of the colony, its walls have witnessed generations of love, tradition, and quiet moments of significance.

Please arrive at 2pm for a 2:30pm Ceremony start.

Following our ceremony, we invite you to join us on the water as we set sail across Sydney Harbour aboard OneWorld.

As we depart from the shores of The Rocks, the celebration will continue with champagne in hand and the harbour unfolding around us. Cruising past Sydney’s most iconic landmarks you’ll experience the city from its most breathtaking vantage point: the water. One World will take us on to the next destination.

Bennelong Restaurant, nestled within the iconic sails of the Sydney Opera House.

Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, the Opera House is a masterpiece of modern architecture and a symbol of Australia recognized across the globe. Within its sweeping white sails, Bennelong offers a dining experience that is both refined and distinctly Australian — a celebration of place, season, and craft.

As the sun sets over Sydney Harbour, we will gather inside this remarkable space where floor-to-ceiling glass frames uninterrupted views of the water, the city skyline, and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The evening will unfold over an exquisite multi-course menu, showcasing the very best of Australian produce.

    Getting to The Garrison
The Garrison is a short 3min walk from The Rocks centre or a short Uber or taxi ride from the city.

  • To welcome the New Year, we’ll be gathering at one of the most spectacular waterfront locations in Sydney — the historic Campbell’s Stores from 6pm.

Set along the edge of Sydney Harbour, just steps from the water and beneath the sweeping arc of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Campbell’s Stores is one of The Rocks’ most recognizable and beautifully restored historic buildings. Originally constructed in the 1860s by prominent merchant Robert Campbell, the sandstone warehouse complex was built to store goods arriving by ship from around the world during Sydney’s early trading days. Tall arched openings once allowed cargo to be unloaded directly from the harbour into the stores.

There could be no better place to ring in the New Year. Surrounded by Sydney’s most iconic landmarks, we’ll celebrate together as the harbour lights up with the world-famous Sydney New Year's Eve Fireworks.

    Getting to Campbell’s Stores
Campbells Stores is a short 5min walk from The Rocks.

NYE on the harbour front is incredibly busy. We will share specific details on how to access the venue closer to the day.

    Dress Code
Our NYE Party theme is Midnight Rodeo.
Western meets New Years Eve glamour. Cowboy boots, cocktail dresses, hats, sparkles, statement belts and rhinestones. Let’s bring the southern party to Sydney Harbour.

  • We love all your little ones, but for a couple of events we’re keeping things just for the grown-ups. Children are warmly welcome to join us throughout the weekend, except for the harbour cruise and the reception at Bennelong, which will be adults-only celebrations. Teenagers aged 14 and over are very welcome to attend all events.

Thank you for understanding — and for helping us make the most of a few late-night, dance-floor moments!

  • Coastal Formal with a Texas Twist
Classic formal attire softened by the ease of the coast—light fabrics, sunset tones, and elevated Western accents like boots or a statement hat if so inclined.

Formal attire is suits or tuxedos for men, gowns or elevated dresses for women—polished and elegant, with room for a coastal ease or a Texas-inspired touch.

  • Your presence is more than enough, and we truly mean that. Please no gifts.
